One Pan Cajun Shrimp Pasta

A quick weekday night pasta dish.

  • Stove top
  • Dutch Oven

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tsp Creole Seasoning
  • Kielbasa
  • 1 lb Shrimp
  • 1 lb Penne Pasta
  • 2 Cups Spinnach
  • 1 Cup Heavy/Light Cream
  • 2 Cups Chicken Broth

Toppings

  • ½ Tomato
  • ½ Cup Parmesan Cheese

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil over medium high heat and brown the Kielbasa on both sides. Remove from pan and set aside.
  • Reduce heat and add the minced garlic.
  • Toss Shrimp with Creole seasoning. Then add it to the pan wit the garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.
  • Chop the spinach in half and add it to the pan along with the kielbasa from before.
  • Add the cream and broth.
  • Bring to a boil then cover and reduce heat. Let it simmer for 20 min.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the shredded parmesan cheese and shrimp.
  • Top with tomatoes
